It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas...except it is 80 degrees!

It has been hard for me to get into the Christmas mood this year. I love Christmas, I love why we celebrate it.. but I do not love getting the tree out and decorating it. There I said it. Emily June called me scrooge three times during the process. She is so precious, always wanting to help with anything and makes the best out of any situation. I love that child. So, in order to get my Christmas spririt up, Mom took us to get make gingerbread houses. (So thankful I did not have to clean up that mess in my house, it automatically put me in a better mood!) Wyatt has his first sleepover birthday party so we made it a great girls morning. It was a great start to a bad mood month!

Dec 1, "Elfie" made his appearance. He is a sneaky little elf and every morning the kids enjoy getting up to find out what Elfie has gotten into the night before. This has been a lot of creative fun for our family! (Thank goodness for pintrest!)

The first night "Elfie" showed up.

Green milk for breakfast!

December also marks the beginning of boys gymnastics season. Zach and I know nothing about gymnastics.. so this is new to both of us. Wyatt just loves it. To see the look and excitement in his face when he competes is worth it all. (Even if the meets last 6 hours.. on high school bleachers!) The first meet was in Plano has the famous WOGA gym...the competition was stiff, but Wyatt did well for his first time. He did not win, and was upset about it .. but it taught him to fight and work harder for the next meet... The next meet was in Abilene, and he did much better.. he won several ribbons and 5th in all around for his level. He was very pleased with himself. He is by far the cutest little gymnast I have ever scene. Spoken like a true mommy.
 Wyatt and Coach Matt

First in all around for level 4! Team Next Level!

Very first score on floor routine

 High bar

 Mushroom (his least favorite!)

 Ready for vault...

 Go go go!

WE have two more meets in February, so more hard work and awards to follow.

Happy Thanksgiving! It is November already.

Like most boys, Wyatt is slightly obsessed with Angry Birds. He watches videos, plays games, draws, sets up "angry birds sets" and destroys them... and lately he is into making his own out of clay. He has spent hours sitting at the table studying the star wars angry birds and then creates his own version. I have to say he has done a pretty good job, it is worth the playdough all over my breakfast floor! He is one creative little boy, he amazes me.

My little handsome angry birds artist.
Turkey Day party at hillander (Wyatt's class did not have a party)

Emily June's Thanksgiving party at school... they were doing their pumpkin poem.
This Thanksgiving we spent at Canyon Lake with Pam (Pimsy.) It was wonderful. The hill country is gorgeous, full of green and so relaxing. In fact that is really all we do is relax and eat, a few trips to Gruene (and get waiting on hand and foot by my Pam and Dad)! The kids always have fun with Kelly and her family.. they assume Camille is a  cousin (and I claim her as one) so we just enjoy each other. Pam and Dad cooked a great meal, and we just vegged.. There was no TV for 5 days and it was awesome. To no surprise, the kids were much better behaved without it. They actually played outside, used their imagination.. just were kids. None of us wanted to come home! I just wish I and pictures to show how beautiful it is. We are very thankful and blessed.

October 2012 Happy Halloween!

Yes, we took the rabbit to the mall to get pictures taken to support the local animal rescue group. Can you tell I have the biggest animal lover ever?! She was so proud of her rabbit and we happen to run into her buddy so the day was even better! I was a bit nervous about the dogs and other animals, but Ruby did great.. she was as star and even took several pictures with strangers.
And we are a Ninja.. can you see him?!
Halloween Dance Party and EJ's beautiful, precious teacher...
Not to our surprise Addie adn EJ are "sweet, fairy princess" twins.

Emily June's Prince.. her Papa. HE loves her so much. She is pretty attached!

To school we are Blueberry from Strawberry Shortcake... you cannot tell but we do have blue hair.

 EJ and Marissa ...

Halloween was fun this year. We started off the a costume birthday party, a dance party, school party then the traditional friends cook off and get together then off to trick er treat... the streets were filled. It was so nice to see a neighborhood full of kids and adults in a safe, fun environment. We ended up with too much candy.. which always sends Z over the edge.. so we did the annual rule. Eat as much as you want for 24 hours then it is gone. With the sweet teeth in our house, it is the best way! I have no self control, neither does my son.
