Happy Fourth of July !!

HEre we are another year later at the Children's Parade and it seems now Wyatt is able to ride a "bike" and June can sit up and participate this year!

And we are off!
Wyatt riding by himself... he loves this old tricycle (bike to him) Sometimes you cannot beat the faithful toys that have been around for years. Dad loves to find the great finds at estate and garage sales... forget the motorized cars we have at home!
Why can we not all look at the camera at the same time?! My babies..
The McNeels... so Cute!
Ryan is holding June.. she adores him.
Hudson and Wyatt found two other tricycles and helmets to play with.. we had no idea who's they were... but they were having a good time.
Look at those legs! I wish they were mine... Jenn somehow got stuck with pulling my kids!
Determination
I love you Brock!
Wyatt entered the Tbird at GT Car show.. he was excited. (Skeet has told him he will save it for him when he turns 16)
On the way home.. he insisted his glasses (June's glasses) matched his new Green shoes.. He is obsessed with Green.. we can all thank Noah Crumpler for that one!
On the way to the parade...
Coming home from the parade and car show!
My very favorite picture... I love this! Wyatt in his cowboy boots (Thanks to Papa) and he just might bring back shorts and boots for a new hip look! June adores her brother and lately he has just been really sweet to her.

We had a good Fourth of July. It is hard for me to blog today bc it is so quiet around my house. This was the first day I took BOTH kids to First Pres for the July session of Mother's Day Out. It is errie quiet! I should embrace it, but it is sad they are old enough to go together.
Wyatt is really starting to pick up on things and last night he said at the dinner table (on his own) "Dear God, thank you for Jesus, thank you for Mommy, thank you for Daddy and June and Dear God thank you for Cars, Doc, Lighting, Hudson, amen." It was so sweet and so random. I have always told him he can pray when ever he wants, not just at bedtime and dinner.. and I think he gets it. I love the innocence and honesty.
Emily June is nonstop.. she has no fear, I keep saying that and this past weekend she was in the pool not even thinking twice about it. My worst fear, the pool, and her she is already jumping in without any life jackets nothing! So I constantly worry with her. That is her personality.. when I dropped her off today for the FIRST time she walked right into the room like she has been there a hundred times before! With Wyatt I had to pry him off me.. he was crying, I was crying... totally different today. Wyatt was so excited to see his friends.. he told me last week in the car, " Mom, I love my friends." I cannot wait to pick them up at 2, what am I going to do when they are both is school this fall?!

UPDATE: Both did great.. except when I picked up June they told me she did bite some little boy. They were playing and he had his hands around her face/mouth and she sunk her teeth into his sweet finger. They do not tell you names... but after talking to Laura and found out some kid bit Sammy today it was obvious! Sorry Lala!!!

June is flying by

Handy Meema... she really can do anything. She came in and put on hardware in about an hour. Next project, laying slate on the patio, and restaining the floor. I am also going to convince her she can lay hardwood floors!
Wyatt "helping" Meema... at least he gets to use his handy manny tools!
Wyatt loves to look at himself in the mirror.. Why? To see what race car he is wearing. He will stand in our bedroom and just admire whatever car and tell you all about it! Here are my babies helping me on Father's day bake a cake.
I want to be like Daddy too!
Zach Jr. When I do laundry the kids think it is fun to play dress up in all teh clothes. I figure they are already dirty so really how much harm could it be?! Today, they both wanted to be Daddy. Wyatt even went in Zach's closet to put in his golf shoes.
I forgot we had the tickle me Elmo from Wyatt and found it in the closet the other day.. It was like Christmas all over again! Wyatt thought it was funny this time (terrified the first go around) and June kept saying "Elmo, Elmo!"
This brings back so many memories of Wyatt as as baby... this car has been worth every penny! It might of been the start of Wyatt's facination with cars.. looks like June is going to follow his lead.
Tub time! Zach gives the kids a bath everynight (yes, huge help for any mom!) They have the best time, best discussions, great bonding time.
Learning how to shave

Happy Birthday Skeet!

Happy Birthday Skeet! We all wish you another year filled with blessings and fun!

Staying cool

Trying to find alternatives to being outside... it is HOT in Midland, Texas. One afternoon we decided to pop in on Mom.. I know she did not get much work done, but we had a good time.

Bug and the boys headed to the pool....June seems to be one of the boys.. I am hoping this year at FP she will actually have some girl friends and not get so excited about motorcycles and airplanes.. but dolls and sweet girly things! Doubtful with her entourage.

Crossfit baby

Zach has been doing awesome at Crossfit. He has lost about 3 sizes and 30 lbs... not to mention his strength and attitude are so much stronger. (I wish I could say the same about my sizes, but I do love the mental and challenge of it everyday.) The program is addicting, can you tell?! The kids love the gym and June seems to really interested in doing anything athletic... Wyatt wants to know about the cars in the parking lot! Whatever makes them happy! (You can join anytime.. Saturdays are free open workouts!)

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!

Summer Fun..

Daddy and June having a good time! She has no fear..loves the water. ( It scares me, she will literally go jump right in. So we always have our eyes on Miss daredevil )
Nothing like Pizza, swimming, and my buddies!
Is this not precious?! I have to make sure with both of them they are actually kissing.. not biting! Being the second children, they have had to learn to fight for themselves so you never know!
I think this is the the cutest picture... June is sticking out her tongue as if she is on a mission. Sam looks so studly with his flotation suit and crab hat!
Wyatt hanging on tight to Mrs. Jenn

Buddies.. Brock, Wyatt and Locker

Last week everyone had a good time swimming at Papa B's. Wyatt was terrified of getting in the water, then realized he was missing out when all of his buddies were jumping in and having a good time splashing around. He started swim lessons last week and what a different a wonderful, patient teacher makes. I am positive I would never be able to home school, bc my children do not listen to me.... I think I am just noise they have already learned to selectively tune out!
