Off on the right foot!

School has been an answer to prayer. I was a little apprehensive about this year and I could not of asked or made up better teachers for my kids. There is not a day where I do not pick up Wyatt and I always ask him how his day was.. his reply "Awesome, or Just Great! " I am so thankful. He loves to learn. There are a few changes with Wyatt.. he lost his bottom teeth.. finally! And got glasses. He is so handsome in his glasses. He picked them out, they are neon green and black, and so far has done really well with keeping them on and not loosing them. Wyatt is still doing gymnastics, soccer and golf. Can you say over committed? Yes, I am that mom. He loves them all, right now he can handle it, but we will see down the road. He just works hard and really puts everything into what he is trying to accomplish.
Emily June has a wonderful teacher as well. She is in a class with one of her favorite buddies, I do worry about them in 10 years! They are a party of fun and just alike! She started dance this month and absolutely loves it.  (I think she mainly loves the tutu she gets to wear!) She also started Soccer.. and has really surprised me with how quickly she has picked it up. She is fun to watch.  One thing about EJ, she is fearless! I love her spirit.
I started back with CBS, I forget how much that group blesses me. I am teaching with Leah (my want to be twin) and we have older toddlers.. they are just precious. The Fall is in full swing, busy. I enjoy the few quiet nights we have! Saturdays are filled with soccer and birthday parties...Sundays are nice to go to church and then veg!

My handsome boy (and his new glasses) with the light savor he saved up to buy.

Indian guides weekend.. All boys trip. Zach, Josh, Wyatt and Davis headed out to Inks lake and hada  a great weekend. No more pictures, just the send off! But I had a lot of wet laundry when they got home! Wyatt loves these trips, he gets so excited!

Tree monkeys, everywhere we go we test out the trees, they are tree climbing kids.

GAME DAY! pre game pep talk.
EJ and one of her best friends in class... EJ wants to be on her team, bc she likes their uniforms better. Serious soccer playing going on!
 the cheering section
Zach talking to the boys before the game
The cutest soccer players ever! (at least in my book!)

Their daddy was #8 as well, it is the family sports number.

Sweet Claire got her hair caught in the net.. hate it when that happens. Watching the girls is hysterical. I do laugh quite a bit.

Lots of hugging, tears, drama, laughs, and not much soccer!

Oh, the flags were way more interesting than a game going on!

 GOAL!
 Another Goal!
 Another Goal!
Our last goal, she was a little disappointed she only got 4. last week she scored 5. The drama set in ata that point. We need to just focus on teamwork and doing our best!

BIRTHDAY FUN!
 Lillian
Birthday parties in Midland are fun! One of my girlfriend always has the best.. she had a zoo! EJ LOVED the animals.. Wyatt not so much. He was alright until the goat butted him!

I am blessed.

Boys in the Hood

Neighbors make all the difference in the world. I am blessed with wonderful neighbors.. they make life so much better. These boys are all 6 months apart..(yes, Jackson is only 6! ) This is a normal day for them, I just had to catch them in action!

First tooth and First Day of School

WE had an exciting night.. Wyatt finally let me pull his bottom tooth. It has been loose for a while, and the other tooth was already 1/2 way grown in (I am sure this indicates we will need some sort of dental work down the road, I remember Zach saying his dad had to trade a car in for his teeth.. ) So I yanked it and it was out. Finally. We  left the tooth fairy a glass of water and I guess she dipped her wing in there bc it was blue with glitter in the morning. Emily June has been trying to pull out her NOT loose teeth every since! She really does believe she is a fairy. I just tell her God gave her wings to fly and help others, maybe one day she will understand that! Until then, she sprinkles herself with pixie dust(glitter) and flies around the house at night (so she says.)
This morning was the first day of school, it was easy.. no drama. Kids were excited and I was happy to see them just walk into class and sit right down. We are blessed with wonderful teachers this year. I did ask them some questions last week to see down the road how much they change... I hope to ask these questions every year!

Last week of Summer 2012

My future Mia, She is a little disappointed the team is the purple daises and not pink!
 Pose for the camera!

 I LOVE SOCCER!
This is at Wyatt's practice, the girl gang... too bad they are not very cute!

 Meet the teacher 2012!

 Playdate with Lizzy...
Wyatt has declared it a  new tradition to have pizza on the last day of summer, I agree. I love traditions, even the silly small ones. I am actually very sad this year is starting. I am really trying to not display that too much to the kids, but this one is a hard one for me. Wyatt starts kindergarten and EJ will go 5 days to prek-4. I will pull her out on Wednesdays to do CBS with me, but still... I already miss the time with my kids. It is the reality that the last 6years have flown by and before I know it 6 more then, 6 more and they are gone! There is also the selfish concern of "what amd I going to do with my time while they are gone?" I feel I have more in me to just stay at home, yet I want to be able to be there at 2 to pick them up and have the after school madness begin. I am struggling! Regardless, the kids are excited and have great teachers. The last week of summer involved Sissy's first soccer practice (might be the cutest group of girls I have scene on a soccer team!) and meet the teacher. Wyatt started soccer again on his same team, Zach is still coaching them and was excited to see everyone.  Stay posted for back to school pictures! The clothes battles have already begun!
