Princess Tea

June loved Sleeping Beauty.. she was pretty sweet
Mommy and Bug...
Are you snow white?

Is this really Snow White?
Dancing on stage... all by myself while everyone else is watching ME!
Dancing with Sleeping Beauty
Oh! Cinderella!
Waiting for my turn
Beautiful girl painted like a princess!

How many hours of Television can your children watch without loosing brain cells? I think we have tested the limit this week. It has been a week of cold weather and sick kids! Not much else to do... I miss our beautiful West Texas weather.. especially this week. This week we did wake up to a beautiful morning with 4" of snow on the ground.. I was the bad mom who did not let their kids get out and play in it. We have been battling sinus infections, coughing, and whatever else that comes in this house so I knew it would be a set back. How selfish am I? We did make snow ice cream and eat a lot of snow! School was canceled so we had 4 days of inside play days this week! AHHH! People often say, " How can you be a stay at home mom?" and I never understood where they were coming from until this week..I have been home all week! Being a stay at home mom does not mean you are "at home!"
Regarless we are on the mend and hopefully off to a wonderful week next week and of good health.

A sweet friend called and asked June and me to join them for a "Princess tea" this morning and I thought she would be a little too young.. WRONG! She loved everything about it.. especially the dancing. She is so not me. She loved getting dressed up, getting on stage dancing and was not the least bit shy with the princesses. Wyatt and Daddy had a "boys" morning bc he could nto understand why he could not go to the princess tea.. but he got to pick out his favorite restaurant and to no ones surprise they are eating at Micheals... (which has hundreds of airplanes hanging from the ceiling..) I told Zach it is so much better than McDonalds! It has been a good Saturday with two amazing kids!

Oh and I did forget to mention I had my eyes done this week.. I can see perfectly thanks to Dr. Ingram! For the first time in my life I can see... especially at night. It scares me to think how bad my vision has been (with contacts in) and I have been driving around with two kids! So, highly recommend it.... I have one more week of "recovery" than I can sleep without my goggles (although I think Zach kind of likes it!) and wear make up. Best gift my mom could of given me! Thanks mom for my sight!
