Happy Birthday to My first Emily

I grew up with the best friend anyone could ever ask for. We were inseparable, matching outfits everyday, playing every minute we could and spending almost every vacation together. Her mom was my second mom.. literally. We made a pack when we were younger that we were going to marry twins and live on the lake together. Well 33 years later we did not marry twins, but she is able to live on the ocean! We benefit from that! She is the most outgoing and kind person of anyone I know. I miss not seeing you everyday (or even more than once a year!), but love you dearly! I hope you have the best birthday and know how special you are! I am so proud to have my daughter named after you....

May has flown by.. Happy Birthday Wyatt, Dad and Happy Mothers Day!

Wyatt caught Clara with the bug net.. she is not thrilled!
Trying to take a few calm pictures before the hectic day of parties!

So cute, and look so innocent!
Three amigos.. Brock, Hud and Wyatt.... These boys are growing up WAY to quickly. They do not see each other as much as they use to so everytime they get together it is a huge celebration!
Jump! The best part about having a birthday party at the gym.. they are TIRED afterwards!
Zach and Locker hugs!
Happy Birthday to Wyatt.. make a wish
Friends... This cracks me up because Davis is blowing the horn in his hand, and sweet Clara was so tired of it she put her hands over her ears!

Happy Mother's Day!
Mother's Day lunch with my sweet Mom
Dad and Pam. I love this picture bc it captures my Dad, his eyes sparkle.
Nini, Skeet, and Wyatt after his Spring Play at Hillander
Is this a Miss America pose or what? I asked her to turn around and smile and this is what I got! I love it! Too bad she will never be allowed to enter a pageant!
Muffins with Mommy....
Wyatt after his play, I was so proud!

Emily June's class for Mother's Day muffins
Wyatt's sweet girlfriend Kade. I love the look on his face.. so smitten!
The Spring school play... Wyatt performing 10 songs.. on the front row with a little bit of stage freight.. very big eyes! I know Emily and Ms. Elias can tell you when I had the same look on a spring break trip to Arkansas.

We decided to make cupcakes when the kids wanted a snack.. needless to say it was a sugar, messy filled day! One of Wyatt's best buddy lives across the street basically and it will be so nice this summer to have a friend so close! It helps I enjoy his mom just as much! His little sister, Sweet Anna is growing quickly so hopefully they will realize she is a person and quit picking her up as if she is their living doll! You can see EJ's cupcakes, pink of course!
Silly Boys... here are their masterpieces.... Last day of School! SO sad for me! We had the best year and the best teachers, it is going to be tough to get any better next year....
Last week of CBS was rough as well. I absolutely love this program and hope anyone who reads this will get involved.. IT has taught me more and the kids more than I could of ever imagined.I have made so many wonderful friends of all ages. Here are Mrs. Helen and Mrs. Sandi.. Emily June's sweet CBS teachers.

Wyatt and his super sweet and patient teachers this year.. Mrs. Carol and Mrs. Ilene. I remember the third or fourth week of CBS I went in and asked, " how is my sweet Wyatt?" Mrs. Ilene said.. "Terrible, we have been praying for him!" My heart dropped, I was mortified. Mrs. Ilene is most caring woman and to know she is specifically praying for his behavior was a wake up call for me. I am not in denial knowing he does not listen, but unusually in classroom situations he "performs" pretty well. So, we had a long discussion, a few spankings, and a few missed play dates over how to listen and obey this year! HE and Jay are such good buddies they would get so excited and tune everything else out.... Jay and Wyatt... Mrs. Carol and Mrs. Ilene said they will be "buddies for life!"
The cake for his graduation party.. 11 little owls for the little Hillander owls. It was delicious too! No, I did not make it!

Happy Dance

Hard to believe May is here and almost over! It has been a wonderful month. Wyatt is officially 4, meaning we are over the terrible 3's right?! Not hardly, but he is just as sweet as ever and has been the biggest blessing the last 4 years. We started off the day with a friends birthday party and then headed over to Miller's gym and celebrated Wyatt's. It is hard to believe how quickly everything happens. I guess I really do not realize how quickly they grow until I see all his friends. We are so blessed to live in a town where there are just wonderful people surrounding us. Wyatt has the best little buddies and the Moms and Dads are just as wonderful. The kids had a ball, the cake was delicious and everyone was tired after a fun, sugar, filled day.
The weekend only got better, Sunday was Mother's Day and I had the best day with the family. Mom treated us to lunch and we just really had a calm day. Mother's Day is one of those days where I realize just how blessed I am. I am thankful for healthy children, a husband who supports me staying home with my babies, and a wonderful support system. Gosh, I sound so mooshy.
Monday we celebrated my Dad's birthday... again so glad he fought hard to fight cancer and see him happier this year than he has ever been. He is involved with the kids on a daily basis and just so thoughtful at times. Pam has been a huge part of his happiness and I am so thrilled to have her in my life and his.. again more mooshy!

Last weekend we headed over to Shreveport to see my Grandmother.. she is 96 and amazing. I wonder what she thinks of the kids, I know she thinks they are way spoiled and they are! WE had a great time at my Aunt's house and seeing my sweet cousins. It was a long 10 hr car ride home.. thank goodness for modern technology!

I guess this week I can officially add "train conductor" to my resume. EJ had fun day on Tuesday and I was the driver of the train. It was great, I almost felt like a celebrity with the looks of the little children. The look of "awe" and "are you a real conductor?!" I wish I had a picture to prove how cute I was in my conductor hat and glasses! It was a feel good moment. Today we had Wyatt's graduation which means the last day of school. So sad! We will have lots of play dates this summer... so I hope to be better about blogging the little precious moments that I forget about so quickly!
