Hump Day

It is only mid week and somehow I am exhausted. This morning during our Boot camp workout we had to flip tractor tires... I did not realize how heavy, exhausting, and what a good leg/butt workout that it... Because right now when I bend over I am wondering if I am going to be able to get back up!

Yesterday, Wyatt decided he wanted to paint on his own... sounds like a fun idea except he painted with his poop.. yes, his poop. I went in to get him up from his nap and he told me he "I painted Mommy " (not that I could not figure out from the smell) and poop was all over him and all over the bedding and bed... I said " That is disgusting Wyatt..." to his reply "Yeah, it is." I have a picture of what he looked like, but Zach said was disgusting and inappropriate for the blog so just use your imagination! Which means I am even more ready to potty train and get rid of the diapers. I had a JRL meeting last night and my dad and Zach were with the kids and Zach told me he heard my dad reading Wyatt the "potty book" and my dad did a little revision on it and said something to the effect of " listen son, you just sit down go to the bathroom, wipe your ass and you are finished." I love the "wipe your ass" part.. I hope he does not repeat that one to his teachers at MDO! As you can see from above while Dad was with Wyatt, Zach was feeding June... mashed potatoes apparently. She loves food, she love to eat herself (does not like to be feed) so mash potatoes were a hit! She literally dove right in.
Today we had CBS and afterwards Nancy took June so I could take Wyatt to the "House of the Mouse." It was a first time, despite the fact I swore never to go, to Chucky Cheese. We met his friends from CBS and they had a good time.... during school it is not bad bc no one is there and the best part is Wyatt does not know that you have to have coins to play the game so he is a cheap kid at Chucky Cheese. I think this will be a Wednesday routine after today.... Plus it is fun to see and eat with the other moms... even is we are chasing children the entire time. Paige took pictures this week, I will make sure to take them next week so you can see how cute all the kids are playing.

The morning news...

Living in Midland, the newspaper is not the best way to find out what is going on the world...but June seems to enjoy her morning read. She takes it all apart and by the time she is thru has black hands and a bunch of paper balls. I figure it is cheap entertainment.

Revised...

I did talk to my MIL and she said Zach did get icecream and was very well taken care of when he was sick.. he just chooses not to remember. But she did agree he is not a very good nurse! I forgot to add in my last entry that while June was sick Saturday morning they helped me out and took Wyatt for the morning. He had a great time, he went to a football game and got to wash Nini's car... one of his favorite things to do!
I am in charge of baking 28 potatoes for JRL meeting tonight so I will be baking all day!

The stomach bug....

It was a good weekend except for the fact that Junebug got the "stomach bug." Friday night we had a wonderful meal and great time with some friends.. the best homemade meal I have had in I cannot tell you how long (no, I did not cook it!)..then about 3:30 Saturday morning June started throwing up. She was miserable and looked so pathetic. She threw up about 6 times and quit by noon. The only bad thing was she did throw up on Zach as he was picking her up and it did get all over his face and he claims touched it mouth... so I have one baby screaming bc she is scared from throwing up and another one "gagging" and telling me he is now going to throw up! (he does have a weak stomach) That was not all, she then managed to have one nasty diaper all over him, somehow it just shot out the side?! So, again... the "gagging" and yelling at me " I need help!" started all over. Zach is not a good nurse.. in fact that was one of the things after we got married at we had to "work through." Growing up, when I was sick my dad always took care of me.. he waited on me, had my favorite ice cream, sprite with crushed ice, a cold rag for my forehead, a bell to call him if I needed him, and whatever else I needed. Apparently, Zach did not get the same treatment bc he does not have one "nursing" bone in his body! So now the compromise is when I am sick... yes, I still call my dad and we both are happy! (He thinks it is ridiculous that someone would wait on you when you are sick! So, maybe my dad spoiled me... I will do the same thing!) So, to anyone who gets the stomach bug, it looks miserable for about 24 hours then it seems to settle down. June is doing fine now, and back to her old smiling self.

Today we decided to plant flowers in the front yard and clean out the beds... that is like a major workout! I had no idea one little bed would be such a pain in the butt! It does look better, but we have a long way to go and I am not sure when I will get motivated to do that again.
Wyatt had a birthday party this afternoon for his little buddy Noah. He has a pirate party and it was adorable. Amber (Noah's mom) is Martha Stewart (but so much cuter!) she goes out of her way to make sure ever detail is covered. She is so creative she does everything her self...I hope she writes a book bc I would be the first on in line to buy it. It was a great party, the kids has such a good time. I love birthday parties in the late afternoon bc it wears Wyatt out and makes it easier at bedtime to go to sleep!
