Mommy and Me morning

Before
After
Singing Jingle Bells
Red Princess
Blue Princess
Brunch... and playing with knives... Love this face... "YUMMMM!"

My mom treated us to a wonderful morning.. brunch and making gingerbread houses.. and the best part.. each house was already assembled and we did not have to clean up the mess! Emily June loved the singers, she thought they were princesses and wanted her picture taken with each one.. She referred to them as colors "pink princess" "red princess" etc. She got up an sang, and then we dove in and made a the Doss House... She ate most of the candy and threw a good fit bc she could not eat the play dough... but all in all a great morning. What is one meltdown? Normal to us!

Doss Box

ZAch turned the carport into a gym...
Shannon adn Zach 7:30 in a Saturday morning....

Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Zach! He finally has his "box" as they call them in Crossfit. He has been talking and designing this thing for the past year... and now we have no excuse not to workout. (That is hard for me , last time we had a treadmill I hung clothes off of it! I need to go be with a group, not by myself!) Zach is a self motivator, so he will do great. This morning was the first workout with his buddy Shannon.. a fellow Crossfitter. He is still teaching classes at Crossfit, this just give him a chance to do the workouts on his own time.

In the Christmas Spirit!

Emily June ran right up to Santa and loved on him....
Her microphone is in hand, ready for Caroling... although she did not carol much, she was cold and grumpy!

Skeet leading the group....

Wyatt getting into the Spirit

Daddy putting up with EJ, about 1/2 way though she decided this was not as much fun as she anticipated.
"Oh, is that a camera and Santa?! I am there" ... my shy little girl!
Wyatt and EJ...
Yay Zach! Tthe tree looks great and love the lights!

It is Christmas time! I love it! I was a little scrooge this year, not even wanting to put up the tree.. but a girlfriend and the Christmas parade got me in the spirit and we are making up for lost time! Skeet and Nini invited us to the Greentree Caroling and dinner the kids enjoyed it.. EJ loved Santa, Wyatt was a little leary of if he was the "real" Santa. I thought those conversations came later, but apparently I had to explain Santa has many helpers and then he said, "Where is his sleigh, we have no snow ." Smart kid. The tree is up, I am no professional decorator, but Zach loaded it with lights this year and it looks good from the street! Fortunately, our sweet neighbors are having their third baby this Christmas so they did not go all out on the outside lights which took pressure off us! So we kept it simple. Simple is good.

The rest of the Christmas pictures..

Merry Christmas and thank you to the Rankin twins for another year of wonderful photos for memories to come!
