She looked at me and I said "You will be fine marrying Brock or Hudson, do not care which one... not to mention you will get the hook up with a mother in law who loves sparkles as much as you do!" She said, " I marry Brock." Couple days later, " I marry Hudson." I have said this numerous times... there is nothing wrong with arranged marriages.
Brock, Hudson and Wyatt loving the mud puddles
Three amigos
All the boys

My beautiful boy..
So thankful we live in America.. this says it all!

Every year I look forward to the Children's parade. This year was no different, except Wyatt really understood so he was just as excited.... We went to Hobby Lobby weeks ago to buy our decorations anticipating how we were going to decorate the bike and wagon and how much fun it was going to be this year. Emily June still did not understand, except she loved the "sparkle" decorations and her new red tutu! The weather has been rainy all week, but light rain and the paper said even in the rain the parade would be on. Well, they must of changed their minds after we decorated and loaded the wagon, kids dressed, cupcakes made and Meema in tow.... A friend called and said they had canceled it.... Regardless we were determined to have fun, and I did not have the heart to tell the kids so we went anyway! There were a few other parade lovers there so we had our own parade. Thank goodness the McNeel's showed up to my kids it was still the perfect parade. They are precious together and really embraced the parade spirit!

Fun filled weekend!

New addition.... not ours, but Pam's sweet new dog. We decided her name is "Mally" Someone dumped her off at the dump in a pile of tree limps (she and her brothers and sisters.) So Pam is the sucker who was "fostering" her, but she will be a Morgan.

We had a wonderful weekend filled with Birthday parties. I love when the kids have birthday parties, we always have such a good time and it wears them out and gives us something to do as a family! This weekend was full of fun. Friday night was Skeet's 60th Bday.. it was a last minute nacho party at a local Mexican food restaurant. Dixie came in town to surprise him so the kids got to spend a little time with their Aunt Dissy.
Saturday we had Lockers 4 th birthday and it was a party I would like to have for myself! It was perfect! The kids had a ball with all the water slides and wore themselves out. Zach was a huge hit as the human cannonball shooter. (There was a long blow up slip and slide and he launched the kids all the way down as fast as he could, needless to say he was worn out!) Topped off with hamburgers on the grill and mimosas. Does it get any better?! Locker is Wyatt's first best friend, Laura and I use to spend countless hours walking the boys and hovering over them like they were fragile porcelain statues! We were crazy first time moms and have come a long way! Locker is so sweet, athletic, and a beautiful child... hard to believe they are 4 and we have (I did not take pictures, so I am hoping to post some later!)
Sunday we had a 3 yr old farm party for a friend of ours. It was perfect... the kids had so much fun chasing chickens, geese, riding the horse and the cow (who's name is T-bone), puppies, and even found a few horny toads. (I have not scene one of those in years!) We had delicious BBQ and great company. I feel like it has been our birthday all weekend long!
Thanks for allowing us to share your birthdays with you!
