Merry Christmas!

Starting off the day on a turkey hunt (the dog was the turkey) They drove the jeep around in the cold looking for tracks.. they are 4? What do we have to look forward to when they are 14?! I guess it was good it was not a reindeer hunt?! Boys boys...
My baby growing up WAY too fast.
The wonderful Mrs. Hullender.. always full of love and smiles!
Playing the drums waiting.... waiting is hard to do!
Storm trooper E J
Before decorating our cake..
Baby girl..
Before presents playing with Nicholas and Joshua

My girls...
Merry Christmas!

So excited about new spiderman shoes... Not my favorite Idea, not a fan of themed light up shoes, but I will get over it! He ran laps to test them out ot make sure they were "fast."
My loves...

Happy Birthday Jesus.. We had a good Christmas Eve... It started out with a play date with Wyatt's very first buddy Locker (more like a hunting adventure.. they are all about hunting and shooting everything in sight!) and the laughter and joy started early. Then, we went to a happy birthday Jesus birthday party. It was precious.... we decorated a cake and there was a wonderful message behind each colored sprinkle, a great story to tell many years to come.

We went to 4 Pm church, a little different, but great with kids. We had a great celebration service. This was the first year Wyatt had to go to big church with us and he did alright. I was shocked when he went up to the front to hear the story. He did stand up (the place was standing room only) and yell, "Mom, Dad.. I have to go pee!" So Zach took care of it. He was super impressed with the candlelight part of the service, I was super impressed he did not set me or the chair in front of us on fire.:)
WE ended the night at Mom's.. She fixed a good meal and the kids opened presents.
My grandmother had to go to the hospital this morning, they thought she had a stroke... but she did not and has a severe infection.. better tonight and hope from the hospital. We are so thankful for answered prayers and the sacrifice Jesus made for our lives.

Merry Christmas Papa!

Merry Christmas Papa!

Sassy... terrified of the cap gun.

Princess pillow...
Handsome boys
This is such a typical West Texas picture!

My sweet Dad looks so mean, do let the eyebrows fool you.

One of my favorite gifts.. Papa recorded in his voice the Night Before Christmas
"Thank you Thank you Thank you Papa!"

The big winner, a new cap gun... The best gift ever.. Pam picked out a Harmonica for Wyatt and he loves it! I love the creativity, she always thinks of the best little things!
Waiting is so hard to do! I still remember as a kid having to wait until Christmas dinner was cleaned up before we could open presents... the kids will have the same memories!

Barbie make up.. not my first choice in gifts. She has already discovered the nail polish!
Tired kids, attempted family pic...
Mermaid barbie

I have the best dad in the world. He is not perfect, but so perfect for me! There was never a day growing up where I did not feel loved. I am so blessed to have him close and able to be Papa to my kids. Lately the latest adventure is hunting, Wyatt loves to go to the lease.. he cannot stop talking about it. I am not sure how much fun it will be when he kills something and has to clean it, but for now it is cokes, sugar, and lots of Papa time.
We celebrated Christmas tonight at his house, the kids were showered with gifts and loved every minute of it. Wyatt ended up with another cap gun (which terrifies the dog), and a real bow and arrow.. that does concern me a bit. (It will stay at Papa's so his sister is not the target) EJ got all new barbies and princess stuff...she is in Barbie heaven.. I laughed when we got home, I told Zach I need to stick that "Beach Barbie" in her cute tiny bikini on the frig!
Thank you Papa for another year of wonderful memories and all the love you share with us!
