Story time

June loves to pull EVERYTHING off this display, why do they do that to mothers... it is like looking at all the candy and balloons while trying to check out at the grocery store.

Wyatt playing with one of his buddies from MDO

These are the things we miss when we are sick! Along with CBS, playgroups, MDO, going outside, etc.. This is from last week at Barns and Nobles .. they have a free story time, but my kids just like to play with the train... but it occupies them enough so Mom and I can enjoy a cup of coffee.

The Flu...

After 3 hours of waiting yesterday we confirmed Wyatt now has the flu. Seriously?! WE just got over RSV for 2 weeks now we are starting to pass this around. He was up all night last night throwing up and high fever. I feel so sorry for him. I have been cleaning like a mad woman in hope he will be the only one... but Dr Nabulsi said wait 2 days and June will have it. Then he said," Did you not give them the flu shot?" Make me feel like a bad mom. NO! I think they get way too many shots anyway!

I talked to Jenn Mc yesterday and she said her mom was out of surgery, but it was more extensive than they thought.. please keep Sheri in your prayers. They installed 18 screws, 15 in rod, and "cages", I think they basically gutted her like a fish and replaced her back with metal rods. So I can only imagine the pain she will be in. She will be in ICU for at least two days then in the hostipal a week after that if everything goes as planned. When she comes home, Jenn will take care of her, I was hoping to get a list of dinners going while Sheri recovers, at least a couple of days a week, bc she will not be able to move around at all. Please send me an email if you want to help out. Sheri has a stong amount of faith.. so please pray for her to keep her strength.

Papa's feeling better

My dad has been pretty sick for a couple of weeks so it is good to see him feeling a little better. Even when he was sick, he had me drive the kids by in the car so he could see them. He is such a good Papa, we love him dearly!

Happy Valentine's Day

What a difference a year makes.. June does not even look like the same child! Wyatt looks like a baby too..why do they grow up so fast?!
remodeling Greentree.. Wyatt wanted to get his tools and help...so grown up!

DESSERT! Wyatt had his two favorite things... sweets and trucks!

WE had a wonderful weekend.. It all started off with our Supper club and the best meal with the best company. Skeet kept both kids and they had a ball. I am not sure who was more tired when we picked them up! Saturday was nice and easy, until I got a little food poising.. but regardless Mom offered to babytsit so that was even better. Thank goodness for grandparents!

We had a nice Valentine's Day lunch today filled with plenty of sweets!

Girls lunch

I love reasons to get together for lunch or dinner and Laura gave us a pretty good one. She was against any kind of baby shower but she did let us do a quick girl's lunch to celebrate Elizabeth Anne. We had a good time. Janai's mom made a beautiful quilt, Jenn made sure she was taken care of afterwards with a much deserved facial, and EA did get a few precious girly outfits! We are so excited to meet her, especially since all of our children are passing the baby phase and we need a fix!
