Crossfit- Great Job Zach!

I have to mention I am very proud of my husband. He decided about 6 months ago to take control of his life and get healthy. He started training with Bryan and was addicted. I have to say Bryan is amazing... I got my mom going in the morning with us and she has become so much healthier, lost inches, weight. He really pushes you and wants you to succeed. He started doing a training called Crossfit (http://www.crossfitmidland.blogspot.com/) and it is an intense, fun workout that will allow you to see results. Here is Zach in the gym..at 6AM and looks great. It is hard getting up that early... but we both want to be healthier for the kids.

Blue Noodles

Spilling the noodles on the floor!
Acting like dogs... eating with their mouths.. glad I cleaned the floor!

Having fun

What a mess! I hope egg noodles are not bad for dogs...

Wyatt and June throwing noodles on each other.. June thought that was hilarious!

I always get great ideas from Jenn (McNeel), she is the best at coming up with creative ways to entertain the kids. Since we have been home bound for the past 2 weeks, I was looking for something different and fun. She told me yesterday that she put out several different kids of noodles and Brock played with them for over an hour and ran his cars thru them, made necklaces, and used his imagination. Well, I did not realize she did not cook the noodles, I ended up cooking Egg noodles and then for fun dying them blue. Sounds like fun.. and it was.. just a little messy! Definitely a better outdoor activity. The kids loved it, they acted like dogs trying to eat it, they got into a food fight with them, ran their cars thru them and sweet June tried to eat as many as she could. I figure if they dye goldfish then a few blue egg noodles will not harm her. The key to this is to have a dog... They are the best at cleaning food messes up. I look forward to warmer weather having the boys over and just making different colors of noodles for them in the back yard.. not telling how much fun they could have.
After egg noodles, we went up to Mom's office for easy entertainment and Bush's chicken. The kids were wiped out by 1 pm... great morning!

Supper Club

The Boys table
Notice Laura's belly.. our newest member Elizabeth Ann

The girls table

The supper club girls (Laura, Me, Mauri, Jenn, Janai, Darby)

I am fortunate to have wonderful friends. Once a month our supper club gets together at someones house for dinner and the rules are ...No kids! This all started about 6 months ago when we realized after having kids we never get to see each other and have an adult conversation. So someone mentioned this idea and it is wonderful.. everyone should have a supper club whether it is 2 members or 12! It forces you to get out of your house (or host ) and have a great time. We were the hosts this month and we did Mexican food. All the recipes were from Jenn and Sheri so they were delicious and I made the easy ones! I have a fear of hosting parties at my house, I am not sure why... but this was so much fun I want to do it again. (Oh and my mother in law helped with setting the table and making it look pretty! That was not me! ) I look forward to next month!!

Wyatt's Language

Wyatt loves to add things to his words.. I think he gets it from my dad.. but he has quite the imagination with his vocabulary. For example, Mommy is Mommy-mia, June is Junebugeeya, Papa is Popper, Brock is Misses Brockie, Locker is Cookeyia.. just silly things. He does it with all words and it has been really cute until lately... Instead of the -i-eyya add to everything he as started to us an "f" so it sounds like "Fuukeyya", I can promise he has never heard me say that... so I know he does not know it is a bad word, however, my mom looked at me like I was crazy the first time she heard him say it. He was sitting at her bar and yelling "Fuukeya Meema" over and over. I told her to ignore it bc the more attention you draw he will say it more but I hope we get off the "F" letter soon. I imagine Ms. Tonya and Ms. Martha will not think it is so cute or understand the story behind it. So we are going to start focusing on a new favorite letter tomorrow.. maybe an H or Z!

Oh, I feel better... lets eat!

Well this has been another week of Dr's appointments and sick kids. This is the super RSV virus that does not go away! Wyatt is feeling better today, he finished all his meds and I took June in yesterday and she gets to start on hers after confirming she too has RSV. Wyatt did have tonsillitis as well and June does not seem to show any signs of that. Wyatt quit eating and I think the day June misses a meal I will know she is pretty sick!
So, my baby girl had her birthday last week and I am glad she turned one bc she will not remember it was just another day around here. ( Other than the fact I do remember exactly what happened a year ago and when I delivered... it seems like yesterday!) I was going to have my in laws and Dad over for dinner.. but put it off until Sunday lunch bc the kids were too sick. Sunday came and June really was not in the best of moods... as you can tell from the pictures. Once she realized that everyone was there for her, she started to perk up! I had to put her in the skirt that Emily (her name sake) bought for her.. I think this skirt will be a birthday tradition as long as it fits.. The waist expands so I am hoping for another 2 years! She looked like a little princess. She was such a doll, she just laughed during lunch and really enjoyed everyone and all the attention. Thanks to the Doss family for celebrating with us. ( My dad was sick... wonder where he got it?! )
I have to laugh at the fact that when Wyatt turned one. I went all out.. and it stressed me out. I did not even have time to take pictures and enjoy it. This was easy and just as special. I do want to show the pathetic cake I made in comparison to the cook dump truck cake Wyatt had!
We are so blessed (I know I keep saying that) but really I feel that way.. to have two healthy kids that are such Joy in our lives.
At her first birthday June still has two teeth, is walking everywhere.. almost running, love to eat, loves to be around people, hates to sleep, and thinks her brother and daddy are the greatest things on earth...
