No more Mothers Day Out..What are they thinking?!

Today was the last day of MDO until September... I do not understand why they feel you need a break during the summer, that is when we need it the most! I am not sure who loves it more me or Wyatt. He loves going, and I love the interaction he gets... the fact he sleeps longer the next day, and I can go to the grocery store without having to open any of my groceries before I get home! Today he came home took a long nap and then outside to our favorite activity... the water hose! He feels the need to attack anyone and everyone that walks by...which is cute when it is the dogs or Zach...not so much me!

June started eating biter bisquits... she still does not have any teeth, but loves to try and eat whatever you are eating. We went to the DR today (thank you Jennifer ) and she is over 19lbs... she just turned 6 months so she is a little on the chunky side. I love the rolling thighs... not so much on me, but on her they are adorable.

Dad came by tonight for his daily drop in and I knew Wyatt was guilty when the dog started licking his hand! Caught red handed...literally Dad slipped him M&M's.

Galen our neighbor bought a new dog and Wyatt thought it was a rabbit... not too far from the truth, after looking at it!

Extra and Much needed help!

I have had pictures of my mom posted, but there are other grandparents that do a great job with the kids... so I do not want to leave them out! Wyatt and June are both fortunate to have both sets here. My dad is "Papa", Skeet is "Skeet", Nancy is "Nini" and my Mom is "Meema". Wyatt loves to go to Papa's house bc Papa always seems to load him up on candy! (We are very fortunate to have Papa for the last year he has been battling cancer and still made a point when he was in town to stop by everyday to see the kids. ) Skeet slips him coke..one of my favorite stories is after we left the other night from Skeet and Nancy's Wyatt turns around and says " They are gone, can I have a coke now!?" Thanks for all the sugar rushes and loving our kids!

I have the best memories of summers with my grandma and still to this day feel extremely close to her, I look forward to my kids having that same kind of bond.

Great Trip!

What a trip... planning a trip that consisted of driving 7 hours with a 2 year old and a 6 month old kept me up at night...but I can say it went well. We went to San Antonio Thurs night and went to Sea World Friday morning... that was great! The kids loved it, even June laughed at the people and loved the fish. Wyatt loved the faris wheel and dolphins... Then we were off to Corpus. It was a great reunion weekend and the kids had a blast. Emily and Emily June were instant buddies, Emily gave Emily June a new tutu to continue the dress up tradions... it is definiltly fun to have a little girl around!

Thank you Emily for a wonderful weekend of hospitality, Ms. Elias, Aunt Sue and Mom for a great time and wish we could do it more often!
