More pictures....

I am the cutest fire fighter ever!
I can put it out with my cute smile! (Hudson)

I have to put names underneath the pictures bc last time we took pictures at the 4th of July parade my mom ordered several and showed them to everyone in town. She of course starts off by saying " Look at my grandson, isn't he the cutest thing?!" It was sweet, but then I realized after seeing the pictures they were not Wyatt, they were of Hudson and Brock! Yes, they all are the cutest things... we are very blessed.

Wonderul Day!

Wyatt, Hudson, and Brock

Does it get any cuter that this?!
Captain Brock at your service... Chief Wyatt on the run...

It is days like today that I want to cherish forever. We woke up and took Junebug over to Nonno and Papa's so June could spend some time with them and Aunt Polli. She had a good time and was very well taken care of! After we picked her up we headed up to the fire station. My mom went with us to help out and Wyatt loved every bit of it. Brock and Hudson met us there and you can see from the pictures it was a hit. These boys just melt my heart, I feel sorry for any girl who wants to date them bc momma is going to have a hard time! The boys are so sweet to June so I really do not worry about her down the road with all these boys protecting her. The firetrucks were everywhere, the firemen were so polite, and the pictures are priceless. (Zach did a great job of playing camera man)

After nap time we headed over to Braden's birthday party and the fun continued. Again, birthday parties are just as much fun for Mommy's and Daddy's bc we all get to see each other! Darby did an incredible job of throwing a party where everyone had a great time. She is the party planner, so I took notes for Wyatt's 3rd! The boys again had a ball and left with a good sugar high. Thank you Darby for a great time and Happy Birthday Braden.

Both kids were asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow... I love days like today.

June is 7 months old today

It is hard to believe my baby girl is already 7 months old. She has been such a joy and I have loved the last 7 months. I have to say I worried so much with Wyatt and was so scared to do anything wrong with him that I did not enjoy the baby time as much as I should have. I think I called the Dr or Christine (our sweet neighbor) once a week or was on the Internet for every little bump, rash, slight cough, anything! I even had his head scanned bc I was scared he was going to have seizures. The schedule was so strict I would not budge or go off the "schedule" for 5 minutes. I was scared of the swings at the park bc of germs, I was scared of him sleeping on his back bc his head would be flat... I was a worrier to say the least. June on the other hand, has been a real joy for the fact that I realize I cannot control everything and she goes with the flow. She has a schedule, but also has to go along with Wyatt's busy schedule and 90% of the time has the sweetest smile on her face. It has been a real blessing to have both Wyatt and June and I realize now how extremely blessed Zach and I are.
At 7 months, June is trying to crawl.. she says "dada" and "baaaaba" which I think is brother. (Wyatt's first words were "hungree" (remember he was 100% in weight as a child!) and " tink" (the dog))She is not a big eater, she loves biter biscuits and makes the biggest mess. She is 20 lbs and 27 inches long (90%in height and weight) She is a daddy's girl at night and Mommy's in the morning. She adores her brother, despite the fact he pays no attention to her and if he does, watch out!
(I was trying to show a 7 in the picture above, it just did not turn out very well!)

I've been TAGGED (thanks Janai)

Here are the rules:
1. Link back to the person who tagged you -http://rollinwiththerogers.blogspot.com/ Janai, tagged me.
2. Mention the rules on your blog
3. Tell 6 unspectacular quirks of yours
4. Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking to them
5. Leave a comment for each tagged blogger to let them know that they have been tagged

6 quirks about me..with the help of Zach

1. I am the most unorganized person who wants to be organized so bad. Jennifer is my hero on organization and Alex (Laura's sister) is a close second. It is not just the closets, but their whole lives are so organized and I envy that! I try and fake organization, but notice no one has scene my closet or inside of my car.
2. I do not let my gas tank get past 1/4 tank... usually 1/2 a tank. I am not a risk taker and do not care to see how many miles one tank can get.. I like to keep it full or close to full all the time. How crazy it that? Needless to say we fill up a lot!
3. I think that words should be spelled like they sound... I am officially the world's worst speller and when I was young my teachers use to say or "look it up in the dictionary" Well if you cannot spell it, how in the heck are you suppose to look it up?! Spell check is my best friend and why have a letter that is silent? pneumonia... why the "p"?
4. I hate my kids to be dirty. I know this sounds crazy having two...but it drives me crazy to see food on their shirts and their hair not combed or in place?! Why that matters I have no idea...but when we go somewhere they are dressed properly and I am literally in shorts and a t-shirt with my hair in a 2 day ponytail. It makes no sense.
5. Zach would say I never turn lights off... but I to say I have gotten a little better. When we first got married he hated coming home bc the house was always lit up like Christmas..and when I left I never turned them off. I make an honest effort now to turn them off so it is much better than it was!
6. I buy cheap toilet paper. When my parents were still married, my Dad literally threw a whole package of toilet paper away one day when my mom brought it home.. he hates cheap toilet paper and so does my husband. My dad brought down nice toilet paper yesterday for the fact that my husband complains that our toilet paper is worse than the Odessa courthouse (where he has been working). I just hate to spend money on toilet paper of all things.. and it is expensive! So, I am like my mom is saving money I guess!

So I am tagging... Kaylynn, Molly, Kristen, Darby, Allison, and Jennifer!

Papa's daily visits

My dad comes by daily and the kids look so forward to it. Probably bc he spoils them with candy and toys almost everytime he comes, but he also showers them with love and helps me out all the time. (The candy and toys are a battle I decided is was not worth fighting.) I think kids have a special bond with grandparents and it is fun to let them spoil them every now and then.

Wyatt and I spent the morning this together doing Wyatt's favorite things..including visiting the firestation. The firestation downtown has a little museum with 2 old firetrucks he loves to crawl on.. I think we are the only ones that go there bc the dust is about an 1" thick! June was spoiled at Nini's so it was a win win situtation.

June is a daddy's girl and looks forward to him coming home everyday... can you tell?!

Flying High

My kids are in constant motion...

Stage 2 of Cabinets

I have had some people ask how the cabinets turned out... here is phase two. We have a few more things to do, but I am very pleased. We have a countertop guy coming tomorrow so we will see what the final product looks like later on! If you need to compare, scroll down to see the before orange cabinets!
