As I was talking to Jenn today about my frustrations with the kids and how I feel like my mind is going to mush, she reminded me we have to stay on our toes to outsmart the kids. She did make me feel a little better, but some days I wonder if I will have any brain cells left by the time the kids get out of school. I mentioned earlier that Wyatt was doing better potty training.. I should of known not to say anything. She came home today and peed all over June's room.. meaning I have to wash ALL the sheets and bedding again. I am not a fan of laundry and I was so mad he did it, I could not even discipline him bc I knew I would say something I would regret! So, we are back on with potty training.. one step forward two big steps back.
I have learned a few tricks the last couple of weeks that have helped me.. maybe they will help you too. IT seems every Dr or nurse prescribes the nasty, white antibiotics for everything. Wyatt is usually pretty good with medicines, but this one is a huge battle. So, I got smart.. once I put the the medicine in the syringe, I filled the tip with chocolate syrup. So, he first tasted the chocolate then I squirted the rest of the medicine in. It works.. I am sure terrible on the teeth, but I pick my battles! Another thing is Wyatt's likes everything colored lately. If he will not eat his dinner, I use a drop of food coloring. So, This morning he had green milk in this cereal and blue mash potatoes for dinner. Who knew!

We have dogs... did anyone know that?!
My angel boy.. I just love that smile, it gets me everytime!
I love this picture.. June is dressed up and Wyatt is in his favorite outfit.. Cowboy boots and nothing else. Notice the big boy pants! YEAH!
The new bed...
The new bed in the morning.
The new bed in the morning.
Our dog Bleu (very confusing to kids when your dog is black and named Bleu... obviously before kids!)
Did you know we have a dog?! I feel so bad.. we actually have two and yes, sometimes I forget too. Why does that happen? These dogs use to be our life.. when we would go out of town we would hire someone come to the house to stay with them so they were not lonely. Now, poor things are kicked out of the house and in the backyard and lucky to get fed (not really, but I do feel bad they do not get the attention we use to give them) Blue and Tink are great with the kids and I could ask for better dogs around them. (I have never mentioned them on the blog, so I thought they should get some recognition)
Wyatt has finally made the transition.. he is officially in his big boy bed and LOVES it! He got a race car bed (despite the fact I hated the idea.. plastic furniture seems like a waste of money and I am not really a theme person.. but I lost to my mom and Zach and so glad I did) He asks to go to bed.. he will not get out unless you tell him too.. I think this is bc potty training as been such a nightmare, God knew I could not handle the up and down during the night too! Obviously, he entertains himself and this is how I find his bed every morning...filled with cars. I have no idea how he sleeps ..but he loves it.
We had a great weekend.. Zach was gone with the Sockers team both nights and my girlfriends were out of town to crash a play date at their house, but all in all it was good. We had a birthday party on Saturday morning.. Wyatt's friend Jay who lives so close it is great. They play well together and get in trouble together too! On Thursday at school, his teacher said he and Jay did have to go sit in their "cubbies" bc they both pulled down their pants and peed on the playground. Apparently, I forgot to tell Wyatt you can only do that in our backyard.. but I did not even care.. at least he did not go in his pants! Also, Aunt Dixie came in town so the kids always enjoy seeing her. June just sparkles at the hopes on day she will get her jewelry collections!
