Happy Birthday Meema!

Meema and Wyatt
Meema and June bug- I always said June looks just like Mom.

Halloween

Meema and Wyatt at Sea World, our first little vacation! Wyatt had a blast and Mom was up for anything...obviously!

Happy Birthday to an incredible lady whom I am so proud to call Mom. She is truly a selfless person who loves unconditionally...and always has. Mom, you are the best Mee-ma and we love you and ALL that you have done for our family. I hope you have a wonderful birthday and look forward to many more adventures together! You look just as beautiful now as you ever have. Love you!

Seriously...

I am not sure what is going on this week, but I feel like I am being bossed around by a 2 1/2 year old! What is the deal? I have found myself saying, " You will not talk to me like that." And realizing I am saying this to my own kid?! What has happened in our household! Zach and I will be sitting down on the couch and Wyatt will walk by and say, " Mommy, no- you move." Where did my sweet little boy go? and who and I raising?! We have tried time out... does not seem to work, spanking (not CPS style) does not work, and trying to explain it is disrespectful seems to go in one ear out the other. So, I am hoping Mrs Goldie will have a few more ideas for us! I refuse to answer or let a 2 year old talk to us like a drill Sargent. Any ideas!?

Chucky Cheese

Wyatt's own version of skee ball

I love tickets...

Who says I am a baby?!

Fishing with Cal

Skee ball with Clara and Cal

Wednesdays have become a very popular day in the Doss household. The minute I picked Wyatt up from class he runs up to me and says, " Can we got to chucky cheese now?!" He never forgets. We have such a good time and Wyatt enjoys playing with Cal, Clara, and Tye. June and William do not like to be left out either... one day they will take off on us too. Here are some cute pictures from today. Wyatt has not grasped the "game" thing.. he obviously did not know how to play skeeball either! I love the fact he can play for over an hour on maybe 10 tokens?!

Congratulations President Obama

Well we have change. That is what everyone wanted and agreed on. I feel a bit of relief that we can now move forward with a new president and get past all the race running bs. I have to admit I did not vote for Obama, but now that he is President I will respect his position and hope he can change our country for the better. I may be a product of my environment in not supporting him, or maybe I was affected by the media with all the hate emails in my inbox for him, or just support McCain's views more than Obama, but one thing I do agree on is respect for authority. We have an entire generation who has no respect for authority and no leadership. In our sermon a few weeks ago.. Patrick said "Pray for our next President, no matter who your vote is." I have faith that there is a reason that Obama is in office and I look forward to a better future for our country. We sometimes forget that we live in the greatest country and put our own personal agendas first...not what is best for everyone. If we do not show respect for authority, especially our President, what are we teaching our kids...

Shutterfly Shared Picture Detail

Somehow I can post the link to the pictures but I cannot figure out how to save each one and post it... so, check out the link above and see the madness of the game!

GO TECH GO!!!

What a game!!! The Red Raiders definitely made Zach's birthday (which is not until Tuesday, so he now things this is a sign for the results Tuesday to go in his favor too!) This was the game of the year (for many years) for this Red Raider family. We had the best time...
We started off over at Jenn's and he has the car ready to go with a 12 pack of the all dangerous ginger ale and cookies for the road .. this a sign that times have changed and we are old! We had a great trip up there and met sweet Georgia. She and her boyfriend (Landon) are famous in Lubbock so we literally got the back door VIP treatment to where we wanted to go. Despite the fact we were 13-15 years older than all the baby Techs it was so much fun to watch and feel the "energy" of the campus again. People were EVERYWHERE... the game was packed... we were sardines in Jones stadium, but \ would not of had it any other way. The Texas fans were stunned... and the Tech fans went CRAZY. Lubbock was a huge victory party last night and was so much fun. Jenn took pictures so I will post them when she uploads them.

Mom did a wonderful job of keeping the kids, but this was the first time she kept both overnight. Needless to say she called this morning at 8 and wanted to know when I was picking them up... she called again in an hour when I had not shown up! I have never scene her herd those children out as fast as she did!

Zach says we have to save up our money now... bc we are going to a good Bowl game this year!
