So frustrating, Wyatt was in his first wedding and leave it to mom to forget the camera. (I did buy a little disposable one at Walgreen's, but it is not the same, the pictures turned out horrible and I only have hard copies...so until I get some from family you will have to keep checking!) He was so incredibly handsome... his little tux was priceless and it was a guessing game up until the wedding if he was going to go through with it or not! The rehearsal dinner was a nightmare, he was in a mood, and did not want to cooperate for anything. I knew in the back of my head, once he makes up his mind he will do want he is told, but there is not pushing him and he is not a fan of all the attention. (Just like me!) So, Saturday I was a little more hopeful until we arrived and he threw a fit in just taking a few pictures.... it was stressful. The family/photographer is looking at you like "Come on!" and "What a brat!" and I am sweating up a storm trying not to loose my cool by calming talking to an irrational 3 yr old! I would not have bet on him at that point, no one else would have either. He proved us wrong. Zach walked him back and he proudly walked down the aisle, huge smile on his face get up to the front and shakes the pillow up in the air ,like a boxer who won a fight, and stands up there so proud. Zach and I both were relieved! I did not care after that how many pieces of cake he had or cookies... just glad it was over!
Emily June on the other hand, loves all the attention and made friends with everyone there, I did think Friday night if it was possible to dress her up in a tux after the rehearsal we had! She was adorable and did very well as well. Zach's cousin was a beautiful bride and has the sweetest heart of any one in the family... I know no one can argue that one!
So, I hope to post pictures when I get some! I am just as anxious. The trip was alright, 7 hrs in a car with two kids was only bearable bc of modern day technology and TVS in the back seat! What did we do as children, use our imagination and entertain ourselves?! Long gone!
