Summer Vacation

I look forward to heading down to the coast every summer. For one thing, we stay with my best friend growing up and for an extended weekend it always feels so good to be with her. She is the closest thing I have to a sister and her family is the closest thing I have to brothers and sisters in laws... I love claiming them. We actually split the trip up this year and discovered the JW Marriott in San Antonio.. our perfect hotel spot! Zach was in love with the mile long sports screen in the sports bar, the kids loved the water park/pool area, it was not crowded and so clean (which I love!) . Compared to our adventure at great wolf lodge a few months back, this was heaven! I have discovered in my old age that I do not like crowds, even Midland is getting too crowded for me!
The beach was great, Wyatt absolutely loves every aspect of it, crabbing, surfing, sand, jumping waves, he would rater be on a beach than anywhere else. EJ likes it.. once the salt got in her eyes she was done with diving in the waves and enjoyed a good beach nap. There is something magical about the ocean, it reminds me how big and powerful God it.. just amazing. Wonder where Wyatt gets his love from?! It is always a pleasure to go to the Rozypals, they are the best host and hostess ever...

The flowers and grounds at this hotel are gorgeous.

Leaving the JW headed for the beach!

(we might of over done the sun screen, but he did not burn! Z said he look a little like Edward the vampire in Twlight!)
 Port A 2012

 sweet Christian
 nap time!
Pampering, hair, makeup, girl time! My sweet sisters.

My two Emily's...( yes, EJ picked out her eyemake up)
Chad, always keeping us on our toes...
Aunt Alicia brought back masks from New Orleans... EJ wore it all day.

The famous vacation pictures... the old souvenir shop shark mouth. I think every family has on of these.

We actually left a day early (zach was having allergy attacks from their sweet little cats!) so we stopped back off at the JW and met up with some friends who were there and it was even more relaxing bc the kids could play and we did not have to go every where with them! Great vacation, so hard to come back home.
