I am trying to teach the kids that Easter is a celebration about Jesus and if it was not for Him we would not have the fun parties, candy, egg hunts etc... Why do they just get the candy portion of Easter?! I keep trying, hoping it will sink in that if it was not for Jesus dying for our sins, we would have anything to live for. Regardless, we had a great week of Easter "Celebrations" with school parties, CBS and more egg hunts. The kids had a great time this week, the weather has been beautiful, lots of play dates and even a wonderful outing with our neighbors tonight. This has been a week where I realize how truly blessed I am ( I say that a lot, but I really do feel blessed without taking anything for granted.) CBS this week we were talking about things that people have said and one thing a sweet lady said a while back, "When things are going great.. Praise God... when things are not going to great.. Praise God." Be grateful in all things...always.
