Our trip to the Ft Worth Zoo

We were there early, so we entertained ourselves before the zoo opened... This is suppose to hold water bottles, not kids.. we figured that out when it tipped!
I told Wyatt he could pick something out while we were waiting and he was so sure he wanted this green snake...He carried it everywhere and even "snake bit" people when I was not looking. (Meaning he went up to strangers and lunged his snake at them.. they were nto too impressed with him!)

Meema looking at the lion on the cliff

My favorite... the petting zoo. This is Gracie Belle who is a 5 week old longhorn.. so sweet.

Mommy and June riding the train 5 times.. I am glad we were not in a hurry, but Wyatt loved the train.

Checking out some animals

June loved the zoo, I was shocked! She was very interested in the animals.

I was trying to explain to Wyatt about the "Joey" and he kept telling me "that is not Joey." I guess he has a friend name Joey.

The very friendly white tiger.. I am nto sure how strong the glass is, but June was not scared of anything.

Riding the stagecoach

Daddy's favorite Zoo animal... June like the Rhino too.

5 mins on the road after the zoo.....

not even out of the zoo parking lot!

Mom and I took the kids over to see my grandmother on Friday morning (a long 9 hr drive!) and had a wonderful time visiting with my grandmother (their G.G.) and family. On the way back Mom had a great idea of stopping off in Ft Worth and going to the zoo to break up the trip and you can see it worked! They had a great time.. June was so into the animals and Wyatt was more about the train... but they slept on the way home so mission completion!

What is it about the snakes?!?! Clara picked out a green snake at the San Antonio Zoo. Maybe they can play snakes together!

What a fun day!! Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog, I am sorry I am slow to comment on yours but I love reading it. I especially liked your post awhile back about heating up your coffee several times each morning, that is exactly what I have to do too!! It cracked me up! How's the potty training going? I know it is tough but hang in there. It looks like things are going well. Maybe this summer I will make a trip out your way, I would love to meet sweet June and see Wyatt:-)
