Does he not look like he could win Daytona? Cutest Race car driver I have ever scene!

Here comes Cinderella! Thanks Clara for my great outfit and shoes! We started out as Ariel, but after a spill with a juice box down the front of the mermaid outfit we went to Snow White. I am so blessed to have Clara who gives us all of her hand me downs.. especially with the messiest child alive!

Who needs Halloween.. we enjoyed our own Halloween carnival/party tonight. We were grateful to be invited to a sweet girls 5th birthday party... I wish my parties were this much fun! The kids had a blast.. They dressed up, got their face painted, played games, got balloon animals, popcorn, movie, corn dogs, pretzels, hamburgers, cake, candy bar, oh and did I forget Candy! They were treated like royalty... so were the parents. I can pretty much cross Halloween off my list this year!

My sweet cousin Meagan came to see us this weekend, so the kids have been all over her since she stepped foot in the door. She is a beautiful girl, and we love having her! Wyatt invited her to sleep with him in his 4 ft race car bed... and cannot imagine why she decided to stay with my dad!

We had a busy Columbus Day.. we celebrated a sweet friends birthday party, swim lessons, and a soccer game. Wyatt finally grasped soccer in one of his last games. Zach was so proud to see him dribble the ball and shoot.. almost a goal (yes, for our team.) Who knows if he will like the sport, but I know that moment made Zach smile!

The air show

Trying to hold two babies who are no so much babies anymore.....
The face of happiness.. he loved every minute.. notice the scratch on his cheek
F15... From Mike and Michelles air suite (the perfect spot for the kids and to see everything and stay shaded! Thanks again Michelle!)
Will and EJ playing with ear plugs... Oh, you can actually put these in your ears as oppose to the playdough she shoved into her ears at CBS.
Wyatt and Clara

We had a wonderful time this weekend... Saturday started off with Wyatt's first goal and he was so excited.. then we headed out to the air show. I guess I should elaborate on the first goal, I told him once he scored his first goal we would go to Toys R us. (at this point in his precious life, soccer does not come natural) I forgot to say the goal had to be for our team. Regardless, he was so excited and had no idea he scored for the other team so we are headed to Toys R Us! After soccer, we were invited by sweet friends to join them out at the air show. Wyatt and EJ both really love airplanes and we visit the CAF on a regular basis to see the old planes and sit in the cockpits and "pretend "to be pilots. Yesterday they were in awe... we are so blessed to have such a wonderful show in Midland. They saw just about every plane and were so thrilled to see "FiFi" flying. She has been in the CAF hanger for years getting worked on. We are met a cute young pilot named Andrew who flew the F15... the sexiest plane of all... It was big fun. Wyatt decided real quick after seeing how fast the F15 is, he wanted to fly that plane! I could not agree more!

Emily June has officially hit her terrible, horrible, fit throwing, mouthy, mean twos.. Boy have we all had a week of her! That sweet precious girl scraped Wyatt all over his face, ruined my comforter this week with desitin, pulled the fire alarm at school (yes, everyone had to evacuate), and told her daddyhe was being "ridiculous" when trying to discipline her. I pray every night her passion and boldness and spirit with be for the good of Christ. Some told me that when they are 2 that is what they are going to be like with they are 15... really, I refuse to believe that! I am ready for this stage to be OVER!

Kiki and Shout... my little rockstars

The kids love music. There is a silly show called Fresh Beat Band and they pretend to be Shout and Kiki... so Emily June informed me she was a "rock star" and this was her outfit for the day. She is so sassy... Wyatt is just my handsome white boy who tries really hard to dance like Shout, but has his mother's coordination!

What have we been up too.. making big messes

Have I mentioned I have the messiest child alive... this has been confirmed by just about everyone who has come into contact with her, including her sweet teachers. She is a "mess in a dress", as Zach calls her. I am not even going to elaborate on the incidents we have had potty training.. that would be mean... but today I can share just exactly what I am talking about. She was suppose to be taking a nap.. but instead practicing her art in my bed. Desitin is not something that comes out easily. So I get to go shopping for bedding this week! I know working moms often ask "What do stay at home moms do...well this might explain what I do on a daily basis!"

Surprise Dommie!

Surprise Dommie! We are here... Houston that is... and I forgot my camera... AGAIN! Dommie had a fall last week and has been in the hospital for over a week... Last week Zach and I both had the feeling we needed to go down, so at 7 pm when he came home he said "Let's go!" Spontaneous road trip.. first ever with kids.. and turned out to the be the best (traveling at night means the kids sleep and we actually have some quiet time to talk and catch up.). WE stopped in Austin about 1:30 AM to crash at Dixie's and have a short, nice visit with her. The kids love Aunt Dissy so they were thrilled to wake up at her house (confused, but excited!) On the way down to Houston we stopped in Brennon to visit the Blue Bell factory (I think this was more idea) the kids had 4 scoops between them and enjoyed the visit. I thought they would have cows so I was a little disappointed. Then we make it to Houston to see Dommie.. she was surprised and I was too as how nice and friendly the Hospital was. They all must take happy pills, it was wonderful. Aunt Emily has been there everyday taking good care of her and she looked pretty good considering she feel and had been laying on the floor of her house for 27 hours until Emily came over and found her. Scary, but she was up and walking and had a huge smile on her face. Wyatt was a little freaked out by the hospital experience, but slowly warmed up. I asked him if he wanted to be a Dr to help people and he said quickly, "No! I want to fly them around and be a pilot." Emily June did not meet a stranger, she sparkled down the hall.. literally with her outfit and shoes.
The smartest thing we did was stay at the Galleria so the kids could run around and we would not be confined to a small hotel room... Houston's mall is very kid friendly and they loved it. I loved the shopping, and Zach was able to sneak away and meet an old friend for lunch.
Who knew this would be the best family trip we have had... The kids were good, we were able to see family and have fun! Just what life should be about.
The kids did pick out Halloween costumes at the mall.... Wyatt is a race car driver and EJ is Ariel the mermaid... Which looks like a really bad 80s prom dress, there was no changing her mind. Pictures to follow. She has worn it 3 days now straight.. including restaurants, parks, we have received some strange looks.
Glad to be home, Glad Dommie is on the road to recovery, Glad we got to spend some time with Aunt Dixie and so Glad I have the family I do!
